Pádraig Fhia Ó Mathúna was our guest speaker and joined us live via Zoom from Ireland. He is a Wethersfield, Conn., native and the author of Recovering an Irish Voice from the American Frontier - a bilingual compilation of stories by Eoin Ua Cathail, an Irish emigrant, based loosely on his experiences in the West and Midwest.
